LR2 Level And Difficulty Scales

How to download songs in LR2

In LR2, finding songs is a hard task. Most of the time you'd be redirected to a dead link, 503'd, or the song just doesn't have any download link at all. I'm not kidding if I tell you that you'll be spending more time finding a specific chart than playing it. Even if you find a link, with the main language of those sites being in Japanese, you would be thinking whether you it lead you to the right link or not.

Luckily, there are places where you can find song packs or individual songs you can download. They are still quite hard to find, but once you find those links, it would be the equivalent of a gold mine.

O2Jam Gameplay Guide

Let's talk about the gameplay of O2Jam. As with every VSRG (Vertical Scrolling Rhythm Game), every note corresponds to a music, so as you hit the notes the actual music notes will also be played.

What is Lunatic Rave 2 (LR2)?

Lunatic Rave 2, or LR2 for short, is a rhythm game similar to the Beatmania franchise.

LR2 is another VSRG (Vertical Scrolling Rhythm Game). As usual, you have the notes falling down (or up) on the playfield, with the game judging your hit accuracy. If you are familiar with the Beatmania IIDX games, LR2 is pretty much the same as it.

As with all VSRGs, every note falling down corresponds to a sound that makes the music. In LR2, almost all songs are keysounded, which means that every note corresponds to a sound. Compared to O2Jam where most songs are not keysounded, LR2 provides a much more immersive gameplay, in a sense that what you hit is what you hear.

O2Jam Skill Rings Guide

Last time, I talked about O2Mania and O2Jam Offline.

Skill Rings allow players to change the way they play a song. They allow players to rearrange the patterns using Arrangement Skill Rings, or limit their view (for impressing people) using Visibility Skill Rings.

To start, there are 6 different skill rings in O2Jam. 3 of them affects Arrangement, and the other 3 affects Visibility.
